SHS Young Professionals Program Call for Participants

Are you in years one to seven of your healthcare process improvement career? If so, would you be interested in connecting with peers and senior industry professionals? Are you also interested in unique professional development opportunities?

Criteria for Participation

  • Interested in connecting with peers and senior industry professionals
  • Interested in professional development opportunities

Conference Events

  • Panel session presentation highlighting careers of four to six early-career program professionals
  • Mentoring program to pair up each participant with a senior industry professional
  • Meet-ups at welcome reception, conference meals and networking breaks
  • Organized dinner outing or social event on free night, schedule permitting
  • Program participants to be recognized in the conference brochure, SHS newsletter or other media

Young Professionals Social & Networking Event

The SHS YP Committee invites you to join us for an exciting evening of networking and comradery!

Our night begins with an informative session highlighting the accomplishments of the YP Committee and steps you can take to get involved! We will also have a chance to hear from our event sponsors, who will share their thoughts about how their company could help you as a young professional in the field of healthcare improvement. After this program, there will be open networking and dinner for all in attendance.

The YP Social & Networking Event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Vic’s on the River in Savannah! You can attend this event for the discounted rate of $30/person. A sumptuous three-course meal will be served, which includes an appetizer, entrée, dessert and tea. There will be a cash bar for purchase of alcoholic drinks.
