Getting back to the future
I admit I have enjoyed my two years
of isolation in the Oregon forest. It required
some adjustment, and I would
not want to live this way permanently.
However, the safety of a controlled environment,
minus 100 days per year of
travel, gave me a chance for almost optimal
reflection. I was able to spend time
thinking and learning again.
