Regional Vice President - Chris Tonn

Christian V Tonn is an Industrial Engineer with Boeing in Wichita, Kansas. His career started and continues to be in the aerospace industry with stops at Cessna, Raytheon Aircraft, NORDAM, Spirit AeroSystems, and now Boeing. He is a 1995 graduate of Kansas State University with a B.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a 2004 MBA from Baker University. He holds a Raytheon Six Sigma Expert certification. He has served as Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement division leader, Quality manager, and production supervisor. He currently provides Discrete Event Simulation, capacity planning, and project management services at the Boeing Company.

Chris is the elected regional vice president of the IISE South Central Region and has served IISE as a university chapter president, regional student conference organizer, Modeling and Simulation board member. He is an active member of the Wichita professional chapter. extensively with the Kansas City professional chapter.

Chris looks forward to leading the region and assisting chapters in their individual and relational / regional needs. He will strive to motivate valuable connections between students, professionals, groups, and chapters to seize the manifest potential that the organization carries for members across the globe.
