*Eric Malstrom died less than three weeks after the election. The Board of Trustees then appointed John Birge, who opposed Malstrom in the election, to serve as IIE president-elect. Several months into his term, Birge resigned due to time constraints and Marlin Thomas was appointed to serve out the remainder of the term.
