Reflections on sustainability education in engineering
Prioritizing ethics, human quality of life in an organization’s culture

The use of engineering methods applied to sustainability includes development of projects in fields such as energy efficiency, adequate management of resources and waste, responsible material consumption and the incorporation of planet-friendly technologies. Sustainable development involves a reflective analysis of ethics, knowledge of our relationship with the environment for a better access mode, responsible management and the participation and distribution of assets that do not deplete nonrenewable natural resources in society.
