ISE professionals can drive efforts to reach full potential

Many industrial and systems engineers migrated to our discipline because we were told it was the engineering option that involved people the most. So we entered ISE Body of Knowledge education and preparation that taught us about human factors engineering, operations research, and manufacturing and production systems engineering. A few ISE departments have purposefully integrated some management systems engineering into their curriculum, but the preparation to engineer management systems that bring out the best in people and teams is limited.
