Healthcare's complex operational environments often require advanced modeling skill sets. In the past, this created issues for simulation's use in performance improvement projects, as models took a great deal of time and effort to construct. Advancements in simulation tools, techniques, and technologies now allow for complex model creation and use in less time with less effort. Robust, accurate, and helpful simulations of even the most complex environments can be achieved by everyday users. New techniques and technologies will be shown.
