Valerie Boelman
Valerie Boelman is the Senior Director of Process Improvement and Revenue Enablement at Premier, Inc., and an Adjunct Instructor at Nebraska Methodist Health System. At Premier, Valerie leads efforts to optimize revenue cycle processes, enhance sales enablement capabilities,
and drive process improvement initiatives for its Continuum of Care division. At Nebraska Health System, she teaches a Lean Six Sigma course for healthcare professionals. Valerie began working in healthcare fifteen years ago at UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, most recently serving as the organization’s
Assistant Vice President of Process Improvement and Quality.

Aaron Kanne
Aaron Kanne is the executive director, project execution office at Care Logistics, located in Alpharetta, GA. He received his B.S. in industrial and management systems engineering from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and his master's degree in health systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He currently
serves as an SHS board member and has been an active member of SHS since 2008 and IIE since 2001. He is also PMP Certified through the Project Management Institute and has been since 2010.

Cody Hall
Cody Hall is the Systems Director of Process Excellence at Davis Health Systems, a member of Vandalia Health in Elkins, WV. He received his B.S. in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering and his master’s degree in healthcare
business administration, from West Virginia University. Cody has been an active member of SHS since 2014, and has served on many committees, including last year’s Conference Chair.

Neal Moriconi
Neal Moriconi is a resource manager for Omnicell Inc. where he enables professional services through staffing and balancing fatigue and draws on data to tell business stories. Neal has a master's in industrial engineering from UCF after earning bachelor's degrees from Virginia Tech; he and his family live in Orlando.

Bianca Garcia
Bianca Garcia serves as the transplant quality manager for Emory Healthcare in Atlanta. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 with a B.S. in industrial engineering. Bianca has previously served as the SHS Conference Chair for the Healthcare Systems Process Improvement Conference 2018.

Shay Bergmann
Shay Bergmann is a Technical Manager in the Strategy Department at Mayo Clinic, leading teams of engineers to tackle healthcare's most pressing challenges. They are proud to hold a BS and MS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Northern Illinois University.
Shay currently serves as HSPI Networking and Activities Conference Chair. They also served as the SHS Education Chair from 2020-2023.

Avi Fishman
Avi has held leadership positions in healthcare administration for over 30 years. He has been with Memorial Healthcare Systems since 2013, and is currently the Administrative Director of Process Improvement. Prior to coming to MHS, Avi was a Quality & Patient Safety Black Belt as well as a Financial Operations Black Belt at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital for 7 years.
He has served as a Young Professionals mentor (2020-2022) and on HSPI Conference Marketing committee(2022-2024)

Ali Anderson
Ali Anderson is a senior internal improvement consultant, in the Department of Quality and Outcomes Management at the Shepherd Center located in Atlanta, GA. Ali received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has been an active member of SHS since 2021.
Ali has served on many SHS committees and served as the 2025 HSPI Conference Chair.

Steven Crowley
Steven Crowley is a Principal Business Analyst at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He received both his B.S. and his master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been an active member of SHS since 2022. Steven served as the 2023 Curriculum Chair, and the 2022 Curriculum Co-Chair.
Steven served as the HSPI Conference Committee - Intensives Chair in 2024 and 2025.
