Overview:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires that ergonomics considerations be addressed in the workplace. Emphasis in this seminar is on equipping individuals whose responsibilities are in the areas of design, procurement, layout, process flow and the handling of ergonomics and human factors issues with knowledge of workplace ergonomics concepts and issues.

  • Conduct an ergonomics assessment
  • Define the OSHA-mandated ergonomics requirements in the workplace
  • Describe the requirements that bring the workplace into compliance
  • Identify when existing processes do not meet the requirements
